Contrary to his habit, the Chamber of commerce of St. George (CCSG) has not focused its events around a specific theme for its programming 2017-2018.
“We want to always emphasize the aspect of buying local with our members and the public. It is part of our strategic plan, but we wanted to increase the interest in proposing activities aimed at a wider audience,” says Véronique Paquet, president of the CCSG.
This fall, the organization has presented four lunch and learn sessions touching on subjects such as Lean Management and strategic marketing.
This formula will return three times next year so that the lunches will focus on the healthy habits of life, the financial investment on the web and the management of stress and anxiety at work.
Luc Dupont will talk about the key elements of a marketing winner.
Four dinners-conferences are also scheduled, including those of Donald Cuccioletta (27 march), an expert in american policy, and Robert Dutton (15th may), former president of Rona, and first coach of the École d’entrepreneurship de Beauce (EEB).
Professor in communication at the University of Ottawa, Luc Dupont will also come to Saint-Georges on the 15th march next. Author and lecturer, he will discuss with the audience the five key elements of a marketing winner.
In its second year of existence within the CCSG, the youth Wing is always looking to encourage young entrepreneurs and professionals to become more involved within the business community.
Owners of KaseMe, Gabriel Bolduc and William Giroux will present their company on 30 January at a dinner-conference. Compared to the networking activity speed-dating, will return on 23 February. In novelty, the youth Wing will hold a volleyball tournament next June.
Event dedicated to the expanded domain of the construction, the gathering is “Building with the House” will be held for a second time on 15 February the Georgesville.
The job Fair will be held on march 23 from 9: 30 to 20h in the Carrefour Saint-Georges. The 30th edition of the Gala de l’entreprise beauceronne will be presented on 28 April at the Georgesville. The notebooks of candidacy will be available beginning January 11.
