Manufacturing of hardwood floors prefinished located in Saint-Georges, Boa-Franc has put the hand on one of the 12 trophies awarded at the Grands Prix québécois de la qualité on 16 November in Montreal.
Boa-Franc has won the Grand Prize in the category “SMES independent manufacturing”. The company will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2018.
In addition to having been recognized for the excellence of its management and its exceptional results, Boa-Franc has been illustrated by the quality of its strategic planning process, as well as to the attention given to customers and markets during the evaluation of the jury.
Jacques Beaudoin, executive vice-president and general manager, accepted the award on behalf of Pierre Thabet, president of Boa-Franc, and the 475 employees of the company.
“We accept this recognition on behalf of all our employees, customers and suppliers who share with us the sacred fire and all the importance of quality for our organization. This is the proof that team work, continuous improvement, and accountability of all members of the organization towards the quality are really worth”, he said.
The Grand Prix québécois de la qualité are organized jointly by the ministry of the Economy, Science and Innovation (MESI) and the Mouvement québécois de la qualité.
Boa-Franc has garnered many distinctions in terms of quality. To 27 times, the retailers and professionals in the field of floor covering are presented to Boa-Franc in the first place in terms of quality. These distinctions were obtained in the framework of surveys conducted by the magazine Floor Covering Weekly, Floor Covering News and Floor Focus.
Boa-Franc has also featured the winners of the best Employers in Canada in 2016 and 2017, in addition to being the winner of the Gold award from the Canada Awards for excellence in 2013, and the trophy “SMES independent manufacturing” at the Grands Prix québécois de la qualité in 2012.
