Two artists, with very different styles, are added to the programming of the Quebec City Summer Festival, according to Le Soleil. The daring Cowboys will perform on the plains of Abraham to celebrate their 20th birthday, and King Crimson plans to stop in town on July 7th.
King Crimson unveiled Wednesday, on his website, what his summer tour itinerary will look like. Fifteen dates are scheduled, including the one in Quebec City on July 7th. If there is yet a final confirmation, as well as the place, the stars seem to be frankly aligned so that the band of Robert Fripp plays in the Old Capital, which agrees with other information obtained by Le Soleil for this purpose. According to all logic, the formation of progressive rock should occur at the Parc de la Francophonie …
On another note, we also learned that the dashing Cowboys will celebrate their 20th birthday on the plains of Abraham. It was not possible to obtain the precise date or whether the quartet will be produced in a carte blanche form, an approach that has often been put forward in recent years by the FEQ.
For now, only Muse (July 16), Metallica (July 14) and Michel Louvain (July 12) have been officially confirmed by the Festival, but the presence of singer P! Nk, who will also be at the Ottawa Bluesfest , Seems very likely. The program is due to be unveiled on 8 March.
